| In
2002, Jerry participated with St. Richard's Elementary School
as the artist in residence under a grant awarded by the Mississippi
Arts Commission. The project entails Jerry working with each
student at the school to construct a twelve foot diameter mosaic
commemorating a total accessible playground of which there are
only nineteen in the world. |

In 1987, Jerry became a member
of the Craftsmen Guild of Mississippi. Since that time, he has
been featured in a touring exhibit throughout the Southeast,
featured on the cover of the Bell South phone book (1993), on
the cover of Hindsight (a Hinds Community College publication),
and has had his ornaments on display on the White House Christmas
tree. |
